Alizon Creative — Video Editing for Social Media & Brands, Perth

Raw footage in.
Scroll-stopping video out.

You've got the footage — from a shoot, a phone, a past campaign. I turn it into paced, captioned, platform-ready video that actually gets watched, using the same eye for rhythm and story I bring to directing.

You don't need another shoot day. You need someone who knows what to cut.

Send me your footage No calls. Just a WhatsApp reply in 1 minute.

Most edits delivered within 3–5 business days — rush turnaround available.

Most businesses don't have a filming problem. They have an editing problem.

You've already got footage — from a shoot, a phone, an old campaign, a pile of raw clips nobody's touched in months.
Filming was never the bottleneck. It's the hours after: watching it back, finding the moment that matters, cutting it into something 8 seconds can't ignore.

A great shoot can still fail if the edit doesn't know where to cut, when to hold, and when a pause is doing more work than a line of dialogue.

That's not a technical skill. It's a sense of timing — the same one that comes from years of live performance.
That is where I come in.

The problem

Footage doesn't post itself.
Editing is where it either works — or doesn't.

Most raw footage never becomes content — not because it's bad, but because of what happens after the shoot ends. A great clip dies if —

It sits in a folder

Weeks of footage, zero minutes posted — editing always gets pushed to "later."

The cut has no rhythm

Right footage, wrong pacing. The scroll doesn't stop for a video that drags.

No captions, no hook

Most people watch on mute. No caption, no hook in the first second — no view.

One format, every platform

A square video looks cropped on Reels, a 16:9 looks tiny on TikTok — one size fits none.

My role is to turn footage that's already sitting there into content people actually watch to the end.

Alissa, creative director, Perth Alissa — Founder & Creative Director
My story

From theatre stage
to brand stage.

I'm Alissa. Before I became a creative director, I spent over 15 years studying and working in theatre. With a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts, I learned the foundation of human communication — how people express emotions, how stories create attention, how voice, movement and presence influence perception.

People don't remember words. They remember how they felt.

For over six years, I built social media strategies, produced content and shaped digital communication for wellness and fitness brands in Europe. Today, based in Perth, I combine theatre, marketing and production to help modern brands communicate with authenticity and confidence.

My method

The Edit for Rhythm process

01

Footage review & story mapping

Before any cutting, I watch everything — finding the moments that actually carry the message, not just the ones that look good in isolation.

Because a good edit is a decision about what to leave out.

02

Edit for rhythm & pacing

This is where the theatre background shows up in the timeline — knowing exactly when a cut lands, when a pause should breathe, and when a beat is a second too long.

Timing isn't a software setting. It's a sense.

03

Captions, sound & polish

Captions, hooks, sound design, colour and pacing tuned per platform — because most people watch on mute, and the first second decides if they stay.

Built to stop the scroll, not just play through.

04

Multi-format delivery

Every video delivered cut for the platforms you actually use: 9:16 for Reels/TikTok/Shorts, 1:1 for feed, 16:9 for YouTube and website — no stretched or cropped re-uploads.

Every project

Raw footage + edited videos — both delivered.

You keep the originals and every cut, so you can reuse or remix the footage any time — not locked into coming back to me for every future edit.

Why it matters

Footage without an edit
is just storage.

Unedited

Sits in a folder.

One long clip.

No captions.

Edited

Paced for attention.

Cut into short-form.

Captioned & hooked.

Ready for every platform.

Actually gets posted.

The gap between footage and content isn't the camera. It's the edit.
